Naru is operated by CoachFinder, Inc. (“we”, “us”). We are responsible for the personal information collected through this website, naruhq.com. You can reach us about privacy at privacy@naruhq.com.

What this notice covers

This notice covers the naruhq.com website only. It does not cover the CoachFinder coaching app at app.coachfinder.ai, or services we provide to organizations under a separate agreement. Those have their own terms and privacy information.

What we collect

Information you give us

Demo requests. Your name, email address and organization, and, if you choose, your role and a message about what you would like to understand.
Emails. Anything you send to one of our email addresses, including your contact details and the content of your message.

Please do not send us confidential business information or personal information about your employees through this website.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the site, our hosting provider processes standard technical information needed to deliver the pages and protect the site from abuse, such as your IP address, browser type, the pages you request and the time of the request.

What we do not collect

This website does not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking tools, and it does not set tracking cookies. Our fonts and scripts are served from our own site, so visiting a page does not send your information to other companies.

How we use it

To respond to your request and arrange a conversation.
To follow up with you about Naru in connection with your request.
To operate the website and keep it secure.
To comply with legal obligations and protect our legal rights.

We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising. We will not add you to a marketing mailing list unless you ask us to.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, we rely on these legal bases:

Legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries, developing business relationships and keeping the site secure.
Steps you ask us to take before entering into a contract, such as arranging a demo.
Legal obligations where the law requires us to keep or disclose information.

Service providers that process it on our behalf: Netlify, Inc., which hosts the website and receives and stores demo requests, and our email service provider, which delivers and stores our email.
Professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, where needed.
Authorities, where the law requires it.
A successor organization, if all or part of our business is reorganized, merged or sold, subject to this notice.

International transfers

We are based in the United States, and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where the law requires it, we rely on appropriate safeguards offered by our providers, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

We keep demo requests and related correspondence for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, unless we enter into a business relationship, in which case we keep what that relationship requires, or the law requires us to keep it longer. Technical request data is kept by our hosting provider according to its standard retention periods.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict how we use it, and to receive a copy in a portable format. To make a request, email privacy@naruhq.com. We will respond within the time the law requires and may need to confirm your identity first.

If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, please contact us first. You can also complain to your local data protection authority, such as a supervisory authority in the European Economic Area, the UK Information Commissioner’s Office, or the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

If you live in a US state with a consumer privacy law, you may have similar rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.

Cookies and similar technologies

We do not use cookies on this website. If you use the theme switch, your choice of sandstone or evening theme is saved in your own browser’s local storage so the site remembers it. It is never sent to us, and you can clear it in your browser settings at any time.

Security

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted connections to this site. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. To report a security concern, email security@naruhq.com.

Children

This website is intended for business audiences and is not directed at children under 16. We do not knowingly collect their personal information.

Changes

We may update this notice from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed. If we make significant changes, we will make that clear on this page.
